Overall rating 4 out of 5 starsAs a university student, I’ve got a lot of things on my mind. Between classes, clubs, and assignments, I don’t always have the time to watch my spending.

PocketGuard is a personal finance management app. This app is made for people who want to know how, when, and where they spend their money. I’ve always found that when I know where my money is going, I end up thinking about my finances more and saving more. The “In My Pocket” feature of the app will help you figure out how much you can spend every month, week, or day to meet your saving goals and spending limits.

Speaking of features, PocketGuard has so many features to help you out, and the set-up is simple. All you need to do is link your bank or PayPal account to the app and go through basic set-up, and then you’re set.

With the feature called “Pockets,” you can set individual spending limits for different things such as food, clothes, and going out to eat. It also lets you know if you’re about to overspend.

However, this app might not be enough for people who have more complicated finances. But it gives me the peace of mind to stop worrying when I’m out getting lunch. I highly recommend it for any university students with overspending habits who are looking to figure out their finances and get ahead in life. It’s the perfect companion for me as a student on the go.
